How does it work with 1 smartphone?
Three simple steps to take your first 3D photo with a single smartphone
Take the left eye photo
Point your camera at the object or scene you want to capture in 3D and press. The best 3D photos are those with multiple planes
Move your camera to the right
For a good depth effect, you need to move 4 to 6 centimeters if your subject is 2 to 10m away. You can move more (or less) if your subject is farther away (or closer). To help you aim, you'll keep the first photo displayed with transparency.
Take the right eye photo
The 2 photos are then merged together into what is called a "side-by-side" photo. All you have to do is align the photo on the screen plane
How does it work with 2 smartphones?
Three simple steps to create your first 3D model.
Connect the 2 smartphones
By pressing each of the two "start right/left connection" buttons
Select the shooting mode
The "sync priority" mode is the one that provides the best sync between the two photos (down to the hundredth of a second) but it is not available on all smartphone models. The Samsung S21 and newer are notably compatible with this mode.
Take the photo
Press the shutter button (on the right eye smartphone). The rest is automatic. The 2 photos are combined on the right eye smartphone and then merged together into what is called a "side-by-side" photo. All you have to do is align the photo on the screen plane in post production.
